Collaborative Divorce

In collaborative divorce cases, licensed mental health professionals do not provide therapy. Instead, they help each partner: communicate effectively before and during meetings, regulate emotions, rehearse how to approach difficult topics, increase co-parenting skills, and navigate this significant life change. Ria Severance is an experienced, trained Divorce Coach. Ask Ria for specific referrals likely to be a good match for you, if you or your partner need an additional coach for a Collaborative Divorce.

Team Approach

Collaboratively-trained Divorce Coaches may also be asked to co-mediate with a collaboratively-trained attorney mediator when a couple chooses to divorce via Divorce Mediation.
